A new $100 bill is being released October 8th 2013 reported by the Federal Reserve yesterday. The bill is created to make it more difficult for counterfeiters to make one, it will also make retailers life easier by helping them spot fakes easily. It includes a 3-D security ribbon woven into the notes fabric instead of the old fashion print on. Another ribbon is on the left of Franklin's head visible when held up to light. There are other security measures taken by the Fed's do ensure the currency would be very difficult to counterfeit if not impossible. I was making a joke about this how they had to make new bills because Ben Bernanke printed to much of the older, he broke the printing plates. All jokes aside this is a good move by the Fed's and makes the $100 bill look fancy.
